Job Summary

As an Onboarding Coordinator, you will own the onboarding communication with all Victra's new hire field employees. This communication will be scheduled at specific times with the goal of collecting useful feedback about the onboarding experience. The OBC will partner with the HR Team, Training Team, and Field Leaders to ensure a successful onboarding experience. You understand the importance of delivering a consistent, transparent, and seamless candidate experience for new Victra employees. You have a strong customer service mentality and you do whatever it takes to ensure our new hires are having the best onboarding experience possible.

YOUR FOCUS (JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

The Onboarding Coordinator will ensure a positive onboarding process while initiating the enrollment of the incoming employee into new systems, communication of processes, and coordination of pre-employment tasks. You will be instrumental in taking ownership of the hiring process by quickly and accurately getting offers approved, created, and delivered. You will play a vital role in coordinating and executing Training Center logistics for your assigned Training Centers. One of your primary functions will be to stay in contact with the new hire throughout their career here at Victra!

You will also:

  • Have a contagious and positive work ethic, while modeling the behaviors of our core values.
  • Perform the on-boarding processes for specific positions, updating and sending the contingent offer letter, setting up the background check and drug screen (if applicable), enrollment into the required systems, and other associated tasks
  • Serve as coordinator to hiring managers in determining how the on-boarding processes are working and recommends changes to ensure efficiency
  • Support new hires by answering questions, if necessary, escalating urgent matters to senior leaders or HRBP
  • Contact all new hire via telephone, webinar, or text messaging service four to five times during the onboarding process and within the first 90 day of their career
  • Support Victra training center logistics by organizing training rosters, travel and expenses for participants, and other various duties
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

YOUR BACKGROUND (REQUIREMENTS):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant working experience
  • 1 year of onboarding experience preferred (retail industry is a plus)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Extensive telephone communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to quick changing tasks and priorities
  • Excel in a team environment
  • Build positive working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and complete independently with little direction

Our work environment is fast-paced, competitive, with high energy. Most of the time is spent sitting amongst your team. It is very much so a collaborative environment. One must be comfortable making multiple phone calls per day in an open space.
