Home Instead Senior Care®is looking for a successful sales professional to take us to the next level in our mission to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families. This position is responsible for maximizing our existing referral relationships, as well as seeking out & establishing new referral relationships. We are looking for a high energy and results focused candidate who is committed to the growth of our organization. This individual must be a self-starter, have excellent relationship management skills and be adaptable to the ever-changing senior care industry. The successful candidate must live within Home Instead Senior Care Coastal Cities territory Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Westminster or Garden Grove. 

Job Description:

The Community & Business Development Associate (CBDA) brings added value to the senior and senior care community through service and education. As the face and representative of our office, the CBDA leads our outside effort to improve the lives of seniors by providing education and valuable resources to our local senior care community. The CBDA primarily works with senior care professionals to help identify and fill gaps in the care continuum that can be detrimental to a senior's wellbeing.

Developing and building a strong bond with senior care communities and facilities will be critical.

75% of the CBDA's role will be working directly with social workers, administrators, and directors at healthcare/senior care facilities establishing relationships, helping them to improve the lives of seniors, helping them to educate their patients as required, and when appropriate, asking for referrals. These communities include: Assisted Living, Independent Living, Hospice Care, Home Healthcare, Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Rehabilitation and Memory Care Communities.

25% of the Community & Business Development Associate's role will include Marketing and Networking. Networking includes: work with other professionals in our space, including meetings, lunches, wine events, mixers, etc. Marketing includes: community/table events, presentations at senior centers, speaking and educational events.


Education/Experience Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Related business or sales experience (consultative sales a plus)
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to work in the field, and be insurable.

Salary Range

From $50k to $70k, with incentives.
