As a Ski & Ride Supervisor you will provide the highest quality of ski and snowboard education experience to our guests while maximizing Ski and Snowboard School net revenues through coordination of all aspects of ski and snowboard school operations. We are actively seeking someone to join our Children's 3-6Yr Old Program. 

 

Job Specific Duties Include (but are not limited to)

  • Knowledge, adherence, modeling and enforcement of Children’s Programs policies and procedures.
  • Attend department and company trainings and orientations.
  • Organize, assign and monitor classes for the age and ability while maintaining class averages.
  • Manage prudent staffing levels based as dictated by business levels.
  • Oversee daily check-in and check-out. Monitor staff attendance and timeliness. Enter accurate payroll information.
  • Maintain a high level of accessibility, profile and visibility with the staff and the public.
  • Maintain lesson quality as a priority and provide timely feedback to instructors.
  • Assess facility safety, procedures and environmental factors which promote the comfort level of the guest and employee experience.
  • Stay current in educational, technical and national standards within the industry.
  • You are expected to meet or exceed the company Performance Standards in the following areas – Safety, Appearance and Grooming, Adhere to Schedule & Vail Resort Values

 

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Degree, College preferred.
  • Education background preferred.
  • Minimum of current PSIA Level I Certification required.
  • Three years minimum ski/snowboard instruction and resort area operations experience - preferred
  • Two years minimum management experience - preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and skiing/snowboard skills.
  • Applicant must have business knowledge, good organization skills and superior guest relations abilities.
  • Ability to ski/snowboard safely and confidently in all snow conditions and in varying types of terrain at all times.
