Safety Technician

Responsibilities for safety technician:Calibrate and maintain gas monitors used in the safety departmentParticipate in emergency response activitiesExamine the work area to assure that all required work has been completed and is in compliance with the contract requirementsMaintains cleanliness of the work center and around assigned work areaQualifications for safety technician:Ability to climb, bend, stoop, squat, crawl, crouch, kneel, lift, carry, balance and reach above shoulder level, push or pull weight up to fifty (50) poundsPass all required physicals such as Hazmat, respiratorMust be qualified to wear respirators (SCBA)Must be able to work all shifts, and/or weekends as requiredMust be able to enter and move about in confined spaces and wear personal protective equipmentValid driver's license Benefits:Medical, dental, life and vision insurancePaid vacation/Sick time and paid holidays401 (k) with 5% company matchHands on training with certificatesTravel and Per DiemFamily-Oriented CompanyAll offers of employment at Pnematech are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check and drug screen.
