Tennis Coach

There are 2 position openings (Head or Co-Coach and Assistant Junior Coach) in the tennis program at the Varsity (or possibly the JV) level. This is a part-time seasonal position that runs from February 18, 2025 through June 3, 2026 (approximately 50 days total, including 1 week of Spring Break). The schedule will be pre-arranged and expenses will be paid as appropriate. Come be part of a team experience at the oldest, and one of the most prestigious, schools in the United States.

Responsibilities and requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

Responsibilities

• Assist the JV and Varsity programs.
• Coach students during practice in a positive manner.
• Have a strategic approach to team management.
• Build relationships with student-athletes.
• Help manage and coordinate practice and game plans working closely with other coaches.

Requirements

• Passion for Tennis and Coaching
• Work well as part of a team.
• Positive personality - enthusiasm, commitment, and a passion for teaching.
• Ride bus with student-athletes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• First Aid/CPR training and other trainings will be provided by school but must be completed.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations of high school tennis and Ivy League rules.
