Grill Cook/Prep Cook

Small business is looking to hire an EXPERIENCED short order grill cook/prep cook. Duties include but not limited to cooking, food prep, dishwashing and cleaning. Must be able to cook with extremely quick turnaround time. Menu items mainly include breakfast sandwiches and some lunch specials. Current hours of the shop are 7:00am to 2:00pm. Position is full time. Capable of lifting minimum 30lbs. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Over 40 hours per week. Weekends a must.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all served food
• Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cooking
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well with others
• ServSafe Certification a plus but not required
