About Us

HELLO DONER is an exciting new fast-food spot located in downtown Austin, offering delicious breakfasts and authentic Turkish chicken and beef döner for lunch. We value honesty, respect, and a passion for great food. As we prepare for our launch, we’re looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

What you’ll do:

• Must have 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience
• Prior experience working with meat preparation (döner, gyro, shawarma, etc. preferred). Knowledge of Turkish or Mediterranean cuisine is a plus.
• Prepare high-quality food from scratch, following recipes to ensure consistent taste and presentation.
• Assist with product preparation for doner and breakfasts, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and ready for service.
• You have an eye for detail and you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Cook and handle beef and poultry using equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
• You have excellent communication skills, can stand for long periods of time, and are able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to work on weekends and some holidays
• Collaborate effectively with the team to create a positive and productive work environment.
• Passion for food and dedication to delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Pays close attention to detail, responsible, punctual, neat, and strictly adheres to all requirements.
• Flexibility and ability wearing different hats.
