CDL A Local Dry Van Driver in San Antonio, TX - Now Hiring

CEVA Logistics is hiring a Class A Local Dry Van Company Driver in San Antonio, TX. This is a day shift position Monday – Friday. No touch freight, must be flexible to come in on days off to work a few days local delivering to Laredo, Fort Stockton, Del Rio, Eagle Pass & Los Indios.

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay: $1,000-$1,400
• Bonuses:
  • Driver Referral Bonus: $1,000 per driver hired, paid after 90 days of employment
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule

• Home Daily
• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Route: local delivering to Laredo, Fort Stockton, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, Los Indios

Equipment

• 2023 and newer Volvos
• Automatic Transmission
• Speed governed at 70 mph
• Inward and outward facing event triggered cameras
• Slip seating

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL A License
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL Class A Tractor Trailer driving experience
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions
• OTR or Regional driving experience preferred
• Comfortable with touch freight
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
  • No more than 3 moving violations/traffic citations in the past 3 years 
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents (chargeable or not) in the last 3 years
  • No DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 45 miles of San Antonio, TX or be willing to relocate for this position
