Texas Mobile Radiology is seeking a full time X-Ray Tech in the Austin, Texas area. We are a veteran owned and operated organization serving patients and providers for over 12 years. Shifts: M-F Day Shift, NO overnight call!
We will help with relocation to Austin/Temple/Waco for qualified candidates.
X-Ray Technologist Responsibilities:
· Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) radiography equipment(size of a carry on suitcase and iPad) per physicians' orders and submit/transmit digital images to Radiologist for interpretation.
· Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of treatment; answering questions and demonstrate committed care and compassion for others.
· Position patients accordingly
· Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent x-ray images.
· Maintain an accurate record of completed x-ray exams.
· Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
· Maintain company vehicle and x-ray equipment.
· Maintain medical supply inventory.
· Promptly notify management of damaged or malfunctioning x-ray equipment.
X-Ray Technologists Requirements:
· Maintain active regulatory licensing, AART Certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.
· Mobile Experience is a PLUS
· Valid drivers license and in current good standing at all times.
· Self-motivated, dependable, and work independently without direct supervision.

- 18 years or older
