Job Summary
We are seeking a Loan Clerk to join our team! As a Loan Clerk, you will be working closely with the office manager to process loan applications, handle loan inquiries, and file all necessary paperwork. You will also be required to follow all company procedures regarding telephone etiquette, maintain and manage proper records, and provide loan documentation and support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an office environment, has excellent customer service and communication skills, and can multitask and shift priorities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Track accounts and make a required number of phone calls daily
- Handle loan inquiries and basic questions
- Organize and file all necessary paperwork for each loan handled
- Assist the Loan Officers with clerical duties or customer inquiries, as needed
- Be able to handle cash accurately and identify fraudulent checks
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience desired
- Familiarity with office equipment desired
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing with a very friendly personality
