The Launching Pad is seeking an experienced and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. The Launching Pad is seeking an experienced and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Must be able to plan and implement curriculum
- Design a daily and weekly schedule
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities
- Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
- Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities
- Must be able to attend monthly staff meeting
- Have a positive attitude
- Be a team player
- Required to maintain minimum workshop requirements
- Must be able to bend & lift up to 40 pounds
Qualifications
- Education: High school or equivalent, some college (Preferred)
- EEC Teacher certification required
- Early Childhood Education: 1-2 years (Preferred)
- License/Certification: Early Childhood Education (Required)
- Must possess classroom management skills
- Must possess effective behavior management skills
- Must communicate effectively with parents, children, and staff
- Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable of New Hampshire State licensing procedures
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
