Social Worker LCSW

Surfpoint Recovery is a new and expanding inpatient drug treatment program where our clinical professionals have the opportunity to grow and advance their careers. We are a top-rated, OASAS-licensed and CARF-certified, detox and short-term rehab treatment center. You will get the opportunity to work interdisciplinarity with clinicians, nurses, providers, peer advocates and recreation to create a comprehensive care plan for your patients. We are an all adult male facility where daily needs are met in every area so patients are able to truly focus on their recovery.

Candidates must be able to manage a case load of 8-10 clients, conduct daily individual & group counseling, admission assessments, case management and aftercare planning, crisis interventions, and develop individualized treatment plans & overall counseling. Strong documentation skills and knowledge of OASAS regulations a plus!

Located in the heart of Coney Island, Surfpoint Recovery is seeking highly motivated and dedicated Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to join our team! This is an in-person, non-virtual role.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to OASAS’ regulatory operation standards of a Medically Supervised Inpatient Withdrawal and Stabilization program 816, Inpatient Rehabilitation Program 818 or 822 outpatient program dependent on assignment for both at the state and federal levels.
• Assist with the maintenance of policies and procedures that will be utilized in the implementation of all regulatory standards.
• Assist with weekly utilization reviews based on established clinical and administrative protocols
• Assist in the preparation of weekly case conference and case reviews
• Record individual client data in the NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA) Substance abuse Tracking and Reporting System (STARS) as required weekly/monthly

Requirements:

• Masters degree required
• SIFI preferred but not required
• Valid New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker
• At least 3-years of relevant work experience
