Seeking Energetic, dependable, mature- minded Medical Assistant to join our family at a fast paced Cardiology office in Melbourne, FL.
Position requires a highly motivated, attention to detail, team player attitude working within a clinical setting that balances outstanding customer service and excellent patient care.
Candidate must possess above average organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, be focused amidst distractions with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The ideal candidate must be a fast learner, hardworking, must be able to take initiative with tasks, work individually without supervision and possess knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.

Duties :

Prepare Exam and treatment rooms

Room and Triage patients

Perform EKG, Holter monitoring

Chart medical history accurately into EMR

Instruct patients on pre-op and post-op care

Patient education

Assist physician as needed with procedures

Assist physician with prescription refills

Professionally handle patient phone calls for multi-line telephones

Assist with scheduling tests and procedure and prescription authorization

Must have at least 2-3 YEARS CARDIOLOGY OR INTERNAL MEDICINE medical assistance experience with preference given to applicants with EMR – E Clinicals.
