Part-Time Driver – Foundations Learning Academy
Job Summary:
Foundations Learning Academy is seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Part-Time Driver to transport children safely to and from our center and on field trips. This role ensures a secure and positive transportation experience while maintaining vehicle cleanliness, safety protocols, and accurate records.
Foundations Learning Academy is seeking a responsible and safety-conscious Part-Time Driver to transport children safely to and from our center and on field trips. This role ensures a secure and positive transportation experience while maintaining vehicle cleanliness, safety protocols, and accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport children while following all safety procedures.
- Ensure children are properly secured in age-appropriate restraints.
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain cleanliness and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow established routes and schedules while ensuring timely arrivals.
- Conduct routine bus evacuation drills and emergency procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED.
- First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days) .
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Physical ability to assist children and handle emergency situations.
- Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff Certificate within 90 days of employment
