Specialty Underwriters LLC, the leader in equipment maintenance management, is seeking career and growth-oriented people to join our team. In this position, you would be working with major Universities, Research Laboratories and Healthcare clients across the United States in the coordination and management of our equipment maintenance program.   

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with our clients from our customer contact center.
  • Use strong communication skills to assist clients and manage our equipment maintenance process with regards to the client’s instruments.
  • Review maintenance quotes and develop an effective course of action.
  • Research equipment service histories, identify potential corrective concepts and present findings to management.
  • Be able to implement corrective actions and negotiate positive outcomes to the mutual benefit of our company and the client.
  • Research and review instruments and contracts to identify risk levels.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an associate degree in a business / technology customer centric field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to multitask while handling incoming contacts via telephone, email, and web.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.

Office Environment:

  • Specialty Underwriters is in Oak Creek.  A comfortable office environment with potential to work remotely one to 2 days per week following training period.
  • Variable hours Monday through Friday, periodic after hour on call support.
