CNC Machinist - Full-time / Part-time

PrideStaff is looking for a CNC Machinist!

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC milling and turning centers to machine metal parts to precise tolerances
• Program CNC machines by creating G-code programs from engineering drawings and CAD models
• Set up machines with required tooling, workholding and make test cuts to prove out programs
• Load and unload parts, tools and workholding fixtures on machines
• Inspect parts using calibers, micrometers and other precision measuring tools
• Maintain equipment and keep work area organized and clean

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of experience operating CNC milling and lathe machines
• Strong geometry, trigonometry and computer skills for programming
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and CAD models
• Problem solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Meticulous attention to detail for ensuring part quality
• Effective communication and documentation skills
