Fleet Mechanic (Part-Time) 

💰 Pay: $25 - $40 per hour (based on experience)

🕒 Schedule: Part-time (3 days per week) – 2-3 weekday nights + 1 weekend day

We are looking for a Fleet Mechanic to join our team and keep our equipment in top shape!

Job Overview

As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing both small engines (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers) and large engines (e.g., trucks, trailers, commercial mowers). You will manage repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and track inventory using our tech software (Limble CMMS & Service Autopilot).

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and perform routine maintenance on small and large engines

Ensure the fleet (trucks, trailers, mowers, and power equipment) is fully operational

Manage inventory and order necessary parts/tools for repairs

Keep a clean, organized shop and workspace

Utilize tech software to track repairs, log completed work, and maintain asset records

Follow safety procedures to ensure all repairs meet company standards

Requirements

Experience with small and large engine repair

Strong time management and ability to work independently

Ability to use fleet management software (training provided)

Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills

Must be reliable, organized, and take ownership of the shop and fleet maintenance

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license

Preferred qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 50 lbs
