Medical Assistant

Job Title: Medical Assistant (Bilingual English/Spanish preferred) - Kids Care Pediatrics

Job Summary: Kids Care Pediatrics, a well-established Pediatric Practice, is seeking a skilled and bilingual Medical Assistant to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day operations of our busy pediatric practice, providing essential clinical and administrative support. Responsibilities:

• Intra-Office Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Escort patients to examination rooms and input their history and clinical information into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

• Clinical Tasks:

  • Perform routine clinical tasks to support physicians during well and sick visits.
  • Administer necessary procedures for well and sick visits.
  • Prepare and administer injections/immunizations.
  • Take inventory and maintain stocked rooms for efficient daily operations.
  • Perform phlebotomy and in office lab tests

• Administrative Assignments:

  • Prepare charts for the next day's visits.
  • Assist in maintaining organized and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a must.
• Previous experience with computer-based EMR systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
