We are looking for a skilled developer to join our team, which consistently raises the bar on innovation, customer experience and technical services. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Software Engineer – Java to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure Java-based applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive our business forward.

‍Your daily tasks

• Design and Development:
• Architect, design, and implement robust Java-based applications and microservices.
• Develop high-quality code that meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Technical Leadership:
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
• Lead code reviews, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical specifications and project goals.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and QA engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• System Maintenance and Optimization:
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Optimize application performance and scalability by implementing modern tools and practices.
• Innovation:
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Java and software engineering.
• Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve the development process

Requirements

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proven experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Java 8+ and object-oriented programming principles.
• Strong knowledge of Apache Wicket,Javascript
• Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, React) is a plus.
