Eligibility: Open to Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents of Canada, and residents of the Caribbean region.
The Volunteer's Role
The main objective of this placement is to empower the National Conversation Trust Funds (NCTF) across the region by effectively weaving gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) into their policies, programs, and services. As a valued volunteer, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the team's expertise by offering insightful training on gender equality principles and helping to seamlessly integrate GESI into their initiatives.
As a volunteer, you will:
- Facilitate the development of strategic directions and priorities by conducting research and engaging in consultations with staff and members to create a 5-Year Strategic Plan.
- Conduct a comprehensive organizational assessment to evaluate current practices, structures, and overall performance.
- Develop a detailed work plan for the strategic planning process, outlining specific objectives, timelines, and key milestones.
Essential Requirements:
- A university degree in social or political sciences, international development, human rights, gender studies, social work, law, public policy, or a related discipline.
Essential Background:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience collaborating with government agencies and senior leadership
- Background in training and facilitation

Volunteer Support and Requirements
Support Package

If you are shortlisted, you will need to:
- Confirm passport or permanent resident details for travel
- Provide two professional references and one personal reference
