About this job
The Department of Urology at Albany Medical College is growing rapidly and we are recruiting physicians in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery/Urogynecology/URPS. You would join established FPMRS/URPS specialist MDs along with 2 full time dedicated FPMRS/URPS advanced practice providers, strong nursing and administrative support, in a Department of 15 highly collaborative urology faculty.
Department details:
- Accredited Urogynecology fellowship
- Multidisciplinary urogynecology education and clinics; collaborations include pain management, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, colorectal surgery, GI, PMR and pelvic floor physical therapy.
- World class pelvic pain clinic with Neurology and MIS Gynecology
- Excellent clinical facilities with easy patient access and free parking.
- In office ultrasound, fluoro-urodynamics, cystoscopy, laboratory technician
- Immediately adjacent to outpatient surgery center in same building
- Outstanding urology residency - one of the only programs in the country with fellowship trained faculty in every Urologic subspecialty.
- Regular student interactions - rotations are highly rated/valued by our students.
- Multiple opportunities for clinical and basic research, facilitated by three in-house clinical research staff to support the IRB process and research-participant interactions.
- Supported student and resident research rotations.
- Call responsibility: 1 in 10 to 1 in 15
Salary range: $325-$500K per year, commensurate with experience and academic rank.
