InLine is seeking an experienced and skilled Bucket Truck Operator Foreman to join our growing team in the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and roadway lighting sectors. Job Summary: As the Bucket Truck Operator Foreman at InLine, you will oversee field operations involving the installation and maintenance of traffic signals, roadway lighting, and ITS infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with specifications. A key part of this role is the ability to read and interpret blueprints to guide your team and execute projects effectively. We are looking for a working foreman who leads by example, actively performing hands-on tasks while guiding the team from the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently to install and maintain traffic signals, roadway lighting, and ITS components.
  • Lead a team of technicians while working alongside them, ensuring all work is performed to industry standards and project specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical one-lines, and technical diagrams to execute tasks accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and traffic control measures.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Inspect work sites and equipment to ensure proper maintenance and safe working conditions.
  • Track time and materials used for each job accurately to ensure project efficiency and cost control.
  • Troubleshoot issues on-site and implement effective solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience operating bucket trucks in the installation and maintenance of roadway lighting, traffic signals, or related systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical one-lines.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on leading by working from your tools.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction, electrical work, and bucket truck operations.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred.
  • Experience with underground utility work is a plus.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and at heights.

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
