Location: Peace Rose Montessori School – Sayreville, NJ
Schedule:

  • Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Part-Time: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM

About the Role:
Peace Rose Montessori School is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Infant/Toddler Montessori Teacher to join our nurturing community. This position is ideal for a Montessori-trained educator—or an experienced early childhood professional eager to grow within a Montessori environment—who has a true passion for guiding young children through their earliest stages of development.

Qualifications:

  • AMS/AMI or MACTE-accredited Montessori Certification for ages 0–3
    OR at least 2 years of experience working in a Montessori Infant/Toddler environment under a certified lead teacher

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

  • Experience working with infants and toddlers (ages 0–3)

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage an Infant/Toddler Montessori classroom

  • Prepare and maintain an inviting, organized, and developmentally appropriate environment

  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Montessori principles

  • Observe and document each child’s progress using Transparent Classroom

  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues

  • Support and guide assistant teachers in Montessori practices

  • Ensure the classroom is safe, clean, and engaging for exploration and growth

Compensation:
Pay is based on education and experience.
