General Description
Join our crew in assisting clients through the very stressful experience of having lice. You will receive paid training to become a lice expert able to screen, diagnose and treat clients with our FDA cleared, AirAllé device. You will also educate clients about lice, care and prevention. If you've never done a role like this, don't worry. No lice-specific experience required. We'll teach you everything you need to know in our training program.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, professional customer service to clients in a stress-free environment.
- Perform thorough lice screenings, diagnoses, and treatments using our FDA-cleared AirAllé device (training provided).
- Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming clinic space.
- Educate clients on lice prevention, treatment options, and best practices.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate client records using Vagaro software.
- Process payments and handle transactions using the clinic's POS system.
- Assist with retail product recommendations and inventory management.
- Work closely with team members to improve clinic efficiency and enhance the client experience.
Requirements:
- Desire to enter the health care field to care for people in need.
- A passion for helping others and providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during treatments.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable working around head lice (don’t worry—they don’t jump or fly!).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Earn an average of $30+/hr! Base pay starts at $20/hr, plus tips that typically add $10/hr or more.
Hours:
- Minimum of 24 hours per week with 5-hour shift minimum.
- Flexible shift selection to accommodate your schedule.
- Some evenings and weekends required (1-2 evening shifts per week).
- Clinic operates from 8 AM to 8 PM.
Required qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 18 years or older
Preferred qualifications:
- At least associate's degree or higher
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Comfortable handling customer complaints
- Able to stand for duration of shift
- Available to work: weekends
- 0-1 year of total work experience
