**Location** SD, Sioux Falls **Specialty** Ophthalmology - Retina **Visas Accepted** N/A **Practice Details** Sanford Eye Center and Optical is seeking a BC/BE Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in Retina to add to its current group of optometrists and fellowship trained ophthalmologists with focus on pediatrics, glaucoma and cornea/refractive. * Ideal candidate would be a comprehensive ophthalmologist with fellowship training in Retina. * Work 4.5 days per week * Call schedule would be 1:4 Competitive compensation package includes: * Compensation floor of $750,000 for the first two years of the employment contract, plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs * In addition, a $200,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 3 years (this will be subject to a contractual agreement specifying all details) **Compensation Package** Sanford Health offers a nationally competitive compensation plan with an additional physician benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K plan, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, CME allowance, allowed time away, malpractice insurance and tail coverage, and a relocation allowance. **About this Community** Located in the heart of the Midwest, Sioux Falls balances an excellent quality of life with a strong economy in a safe, clean environment in southeast South Dakota.
