Penmac Staffing is hiring Material Handlers to join the leading warehouse and distribution team with DP World in Forest City, NC. Location: Forest City, NC
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Staggered shifts may be available)
Job Type: Temporary-to-Hire

Material Handler Key Responsibilities:

Pick, pack, and move materials based on customer orders.
Read and interpret work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records.
Use a company-provided laptop and mobile device to track and manage work orders
Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric tugs (experience preferred).
Unload and transport server racks, bulk containers, and other materials to designated locations.
Assist with inventory counts and ensure accurate tracking of materials.
Maintain inventory control and keep accurate records of shipments and receipts.
Follow warehouse safety protocols and maintain an organized work area (5S).
Work collaboratively with team members, vendors, and internal departments to meet company goals.
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Material Handler Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.
Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Forklift, pallet jack, or electric tug experience is a plus.
Tech-savvy – must be comfortable using a laptop and mobile device to manage work orders and track inventory.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
Flexible availability, including overtime when needed.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and work instructions.
Background check required before starting.
