High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and three years experience performing administrative duties in a professional office setting.

Job Summary

The Student Service Specialist provides customer service to applicants for admission to Augusta University in the form of data entry, imaging, and application processing within the University's Student Information (BANNER), Customer Relationship Management (Slate), and Imaging systems (Xtender). This position processes applications based on the admissions requirements related to specific application types. During peak times, this position assists with processing related to residency, transfer catalog, transcript evaluations, etc.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Processes Applications for all incoming students from multiple systems. Responsible for data entry into student information systems as well as updating and maintaining all student information in appropriate university systems. (BANNER/Slate)
  • Data Entry and scanning of documents into Banner, Slate, and Xtender, respectively.
  • Contributes to the overall success of the department by performing other essential duties and responsibilities assigned by immediate supervisor.
  • Maintain student files by managing flow of new documents, tracking transcripts, and updating checklists for all applicants and students.
  • Run reports to perform quality control checks on data entry as needed to check files and/or database for accuracy and completeness of files.
  • Special Projects and temporary duties as assigned.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

 

 

 

Shift/Salary

Shift: Days; Monday - Friday

 

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
