Finish Carpenter

Job Summary

Professionally constructs, erects, and installs cabinets, shelving, and slatwall, conforming to local building codes. Job sites will range from Alexandria to Fredericksburg, and typically require 1-2 days of installation

General Accountabilities

• Studies blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated.
• Marks cutting and assembly lines on materials.
• Erects framework for structures.
• Fits and installs prefabricated cabinets, slatwall, and finish hardware, such as locks, hinges, and applied ends
• Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.

Job Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1 year of related experience
