Seasoned Restaurant Server

Local chain serving steaks, seafood & Southern comfort fare in a stylish, relaxed setting. As a server, you will be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our guest’s experiences. You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers. Servers are responsible for coordinating the delivery of food and beverages tableside in a designated section in the dining room. Responsibilities also include opening, closing, and running side work, ensuring the restaurant operation runs smoothly. Job duties Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Knowledgeable of the food and wine menus Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order Take and serve orders Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude Issue bills and accept payment Skills and Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent. 3 years upscale, or fine dining experience Ability to work as part of a team Basic Wine & Spirits Knowledge Must have, or be able to obtain TN ABC Server Permit Responsible and trustworthy Demonstrate a high level of organization Working at Legends Steakhouse - Health insurance
