We are a family restaurant who caters to the sports enthusiast. Gator's Dockside is entrenched in the community and is very involved with local schools, youth sports, and all other community activities. Gator's Dockside Baldwin Park is looking for great candidates for the host / hostess position. Will train. No experience necessary. Competitive pay and flexible schedules. Host / Hostess Responsibilities: Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant Help guests to their table Giving guests accurate wait time estimates Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for serving staff Answering phones Taking to go orders Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system Host / Hostess Requirements: Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff members Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system Working at Gator's Dockside - Health insurance
