CAREGIVER - Part-time

A Home Caregiver assists individuals with daily tasks and activities to promote independence, including personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and emotional support. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care:
  • Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Providing oral care, skincare, and hair care.
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers.
• Meal Preparation and Assistance:
  • Preparing meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
  • Assisting with eating and feeding.
  • Medication Management:
    • Reminding clients to take medication.
    • Monitoring for side effects and reporting concerns.
• Light Housekeeping:
  • Tidying up the living space.
  • Doing laundry and changing bed linens.
  • Assisting with light cleaning tasks.
• Emotional Support:
  • Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful conversations.
  • Offering encouragement and empathy.
• Communication and Coordination:
  • Communicating with family members and healthcare professionals about the client's well-being.
  • Coordinating medical appointments.
  • Ensuring the client's care plan is followed.

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 21+ years or older
