Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician

Norton Childrens Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, and a part of Norton Childrens Medical Group, is seeking a pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation physician. The practice sees over 4,000 patients annually, 400 of which are new patients who need specialty care for conditions such as cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, spina bifida, spasticity and many others. The rehabilitation team works closely with families to create unique treatment plans that address the needs of each child, including all aspects of a childs quality-of-life function. These plans and goals are created using current technology, research and rehab techniques in addition to play and ageappropriate activities. Close collaboration with each family ensures that everyone knows what to expect from the treatment plan.


 

About the Position

  • Multi-member practice with active academic and clinical duties
  • Administrative and system support from advanced practice providers, licensed practical nurse, medical assistant and scheduling team to deliver patient- and practitioner-focused care
  • Opportunities to participate in community outreach clinic

  • For candidates coming out of fellowship, $100,000 recruitment incentive; as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) health care system, some candidates may qualify for federal student loan forgiveness
  • For experienced candidates relocating to the market, retention bonus of up to $60,000

  • Five-day work week with on-call coverage split among all providers
