Java Software Engineer - Full-time

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer with expertise in Liferay to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java development and hands-on experience with Liferay DXP and Liferay Portal. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications with a focus on Liferay customization and system integration.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Java-based applications, including Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP solutions.
• Implement Java modules, themes, and portlets based on business requirements.
• Integrate Java applications with third-party APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and other developers to define technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices.
• Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of Java and Liferay applications.
• Stay updated with the latest Java and Liferay features, best practices, and industry trends.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Java development (J2EE, Spring, Hibernate).
• Strong understanding of Liferay development (Liferay DXP, Liferay Portal 6.x/7.x).
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular/React.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Hands-on experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
