We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a busy Level II Trauma Center. This unit cares for a diverse adult critical care population, including trauma, cardiac, stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, renal failure, overdose/substance abuse, and post-procedural cardiac patients.
Unit Details
- 33-bed ICU
- Average Daily Census: 16 patients
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2–3
- Adult patient population
- Charting System: Epic
- Provide comprehensive critical care nursing services
- Titrate vasoactive, cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips
- Interpret and document telemetry strips
- Care for patients requiring advanced respiratory support, including ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary critical care team
- Trauma
