Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in Des Moines, IA. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, and operate advanced imaging equipment to capture essential cardiac and vascular data.
\nMinimum Qualifications
\n- Minimum 24 months of Cath Lab / Cardiac Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting. (Client requirement).
- Active ARRT or CCI/RCIS certification required. RCES accepted as alternative per client notes.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Travel experience within the previous 18 months is required by the client.
- Must be able to scrub independently and proficiently. (Highly preferred by client).
- Driver's license. Documentation required.
- Work history/resume/employment history must document 24 months of relevant Cath Lab experience. (Client requirement).
- Skills checklist specific to Cath Lab discipline required. (Client requirement).
- Professional reference or performance evaluation from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within the last 24 months preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
\n- Structural heart experience preferred.
- Peripheral vascular experience preferred.
- Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
- EP experience preferred.
- Previous experience floating across campuses or similar multi-campus environments preferred.
Assignment Details
\n- Shift schedule: Monday - Friday, five 8-hour shifts starting at 07:00. 40 hours per week.
- Call: every 3rd evening and every 3rd weekend. Call window includes 19:00 Friday through 07:00 Monday for weekend call rotation.
- Must be willing to float across Des Moines campuses to like units as needed.
- Contractor required to work 1-2 of 3 specified summer holidays unless unit is closed.
