Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

This position requires a 12-hour night shift, featuring rotations based on departmental needs. Scheduled hours are from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM with weekend obligations every other weekend and holiday requirements as listed.

Job Description\n

The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients ranging from neonates to adults. This role involves working closely with medical teams to deliver critical support and interventions tailored to individual patient needs, particularly within high-acuity scenarios such as the nursery and emergency room as necessary.

Responsibilities\n

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders and established protocols.
\n
• Monitor and interpret patient vitals and responses to treatment.
\n
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 & 840 and LTV1200 ventilators.
\n
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC system.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals across departments to optimize patient outcomes.
\n

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
\n
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
\n
• Experience with EPIC documentation system is required and non-negotiable.
\n
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
\n
