- Schedule: 3x12 night schedule with a 36/48-hour option; every other weekend required \n
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours \n
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 - $2,110 \n
- Orientation: 36 hours \n
- Setting: Busy community hospital Emergency Department \n
- Patient Ratio: 1:4 \n
- Patient Volume: Approximately 130 visits per day \n

- Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission \n
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred; 1 year may be considered with strong ER background \n
- Previous community hospital experience required \n
- Ability to care for patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics \n
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI \n
- Epic EMR experience preferred \n
- Strong experience with fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care \n
- Comfortable floating within specialty and working rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled \n

- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department \n
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with a wide variety of diagnoses and acuity levels \n
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition \n
- Perform emergency interventions and support procedures such as IV starts, blood product administration, and cardiac monitoring \n
- Care for patients with respiratory distress, stroke symptoms, trauma, behavioral health needs, and other acute conditions \n
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow \n
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit standards for patient safety and quality care \n
- Adapt to a fast-moving environment while providing compassionate, patient-centered care \n
