American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for an evening shift hospital position requiring 3+ years of independent scanning experience and NY state licensure with injection privileges.
Details- 450-bed acute care hospital MRI department
- Responsible for scanning inpatient, ICU, and ER patients
- Routine MRI exams; not responsible for breast MRI, cardiac MRI, or prostate MRI
- Equipment includes a 3T Siemens Skyra and a 1.5T Siemens Symphony
- EMR: Epic
- Monday–Friday evening shifts, preferred hours 5:00 PM–1:00 AM or 4:00 PM–12:00 AM
- No holiday or weekend requirements
- 13-week contract
- Minimum 3 years of MRI experience with the ability to scan independently
- ARRT (MR) preferred or ARMRIT certification
- NY state MRI license with injection privileges required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency with routine MRI exams and experience scanning inpatient, ICU, and ER patients
- License required if applicable
- Perform routine MRI scanning for inpatient, ICU, and ER patient populations
- COVID vaccination card required for consideration
- References required for consideration
