Job Description
The Residential Senior Clinical Supervisor will support Program Clinicians in identifying client needs, formulating treatment plans and implement treatment strategies for children in LUK’s Emergency, Intensive Emergency, and Group Home residences.
This position is responsible for the overall clinical management of the Residential Division. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following; clinical staff supervision, coordinate, implement, and monitor the delivery and quality of clinical services, guide LUK’s residential treatment philosophy & practices, act as part of the residential management Team.
The qualified candidate will have a Master’s degree in, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or closely related field, at least 3-5 years of experience providing clinical services to at risk youth and families, 1-3 years in a clinical supervisor role. Candidates must be independently licensed and the license must be current. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal & written communication skills, along with experience working within EHR and other IT platforms. Able to monitor the quality of clinical care to insure compliance with accepted standards and practices. Be committed to family preservation and reunification. Familiar with providing Trauma Informed treatment.
This is a fulltime position located in North Central Massachusetts and will include some community-based travel. Schedules can be flexible as long as it accommodates the needs of the youth/program/division, but is typically 9-5 Monday-Friday with some on-call responsibilities. Responsibilities Include:
· Responsible for the overall administration of the Residential division’s clinical services.
· Develop and support the facilitation of group, family, and individual counseling sessions.
· Coordinate, implement, and monitor the delivery and quality of clinical services within the Residential Division.
· Ensure service delivery is appropriate and meeting the needs of clients.
· Participate in Quality Improvement Activities, including the Multidisciplinary Team meeting and Utilization Review.
· Provide individual/group supervision to clinical staff.
· Participate in the on-call team.
· Review & approve Comprehensive Assessments.
· Review & approve Treatment Plans.
· Provide education/coaching to staff and family members as needed.
· Co-lead all Residential licensing & accreditation efforts.
· · Support clinical staff to identify children and youth’s needs and connect them with resources to meet those needs
· Model professionalism for staff and coach/mentor them to continually develop their skills
· Actively participate in supervision and training as required
· Maintain licensure as well as knowledge of applicable statutes, regulations, policies/procedures
