• Hours: 36 hours per week, every other weekend required\n

\n\nJob Requirements\n

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience (medical-surgical nurse, acute care experience)\n
• Active RN license in Georgia or a valid compact state RN license (travel nurse eligible)\n
• BLS certification (AHA required)\n
• NIHSS certification (AHA required)\n
• Ability to float to all acute care and cardio units as needed (flexible travel RN)\n
• Must meet strict 75-mile radius rule from address on driver's license to hospital\n

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality patient care as a Med/Surg RN on the acute care unit\n
• Manage patient assignments typically at a 1:5 ratio, occasionally 1:6\n
• Collaborate with nurse aides and CNAs (CNA ratios typically 1:8–1:10)\n
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR (electronic medical record)\n
• Complete general and floor-specific orientation to support successful onboarding as a travel nurse\n
• Float to acute care, cardiology, or emergency care units as needed\n
• Work scheduled holidays and weekends as required for this travel nursing assignment\n
