Department Specific Job Functions:
\n -Implements procedures and theories specific to ED nursing.
\n -Performs patient assessment and develops care plan in collaboration with providers, family and patient.
\n -Executes plan of care and nursing interventions.
\n -Modifies care plan based on continuous assessment.
\n -Is responsible for patient and staff safety through appropriate nursing interventions, adhering to safety standards and correcting/reporting safety hazards.
\n -Effectively communicates/collaborates with staff, visitors and families to promote a healthy and healing work environment.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
\n -Illinois state RN License in good standing
\n ACLS - AHA

\n

BLS - AHA

\n

PALS - AHA

\n

 

\n

DAYS: 11:00AM-11:30PM; 2 call shifts per 6-week schedule period (call shifts are 13-hours, with expectation that traveler is onsite within an hour); there is a 2-week nights rotation required for all travelers; NO BLOCK SCHEDULING
