RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with focus on direct open-heart recovery
\n• Experience with Impella and balloon pump devices preferred
\n• Work varied schedule including weekends and holidays
\n• Float per department guidelines as needed
\n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
\n• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
\n• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
\n• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other healthcare team members
\n• Document care accurately and timely in patient records
\n• Participate in patient and family education
\n• Maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to cardiovascular intensive care
\n• Current valid RN license required
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Minimum 2 years CVICU experience preferred
\n• Bachelor's degree preferred
\n• Professional certification preferred
