Angiography Technician

Assignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule\n4x10 Days, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM with on-call rotation required.
Job Description\nSeeking a skilled Angiography Technician to join our Interventional Radiology team. Your role will involve operating imaging equipment and assisting in various interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions during procedures. \n
- Prepare and maintain the angiography suite for procedures. \n
- Assist in the setup and operation of fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment. \n
- Ensure a sterile environment during procedures. \n
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias. \n
- Perform accurate EKG lead placement and prep access sites. \n
- Utilize vascular closure systems effectively (e.g., Perclose, StarClose). \n
- Participate in infection control measures and maintain sterile techniques. \n
- \n
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Angiography Technician. \n
- ARRT certification required; WV State License required (pending submission acceptable but must be active prior to start). \n
- BLS certification required; Vascular Intervention Certification preferred. \n
- Experience with interventional radiology settings and related equipment necessary. \n
