- Deliver coordinated and comprehensive nursing care to critically ill ICU patients using the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Perform detailed patient assessments and continuously monitor patient condition to support timely clinical interventions.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Provide advanced nursing care while utilizing critical thinking, independent judgment, and professional discretion.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust interventions appropriately.
- Supervise and direct assigned nursing personnel to maintain safe and efficient patient care delivery.
- Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions according to hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Promote patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support continuity of care and patient-centered treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare teams.
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current BLS / CPR Certification (approved vendor per Adventist Health policy)
- Critical care nursing experience preferred
- Acute care hospital experience preferred
