Job Summary
\nThe CT Technologist performs high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate is experienced in trauma, emergency, and inpatient imaging, prioritizes patient safety, and delivers compassionate care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Perform CT scans according to physician orders and facility protocols. \n
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures. \n
- Administer contrast media following established safety guidelines. \n
- Perform venipuncture for contrast injection. \n
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to emergencies if needed. \n
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently. \n
- Ensure image quality and submit studies for radiologist interpretation. \n
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR. \n
- Follow radiation safety and infection control standards. \n
- Float to other imaging departments as needed. \n
Minimum Qualifications
\n- \n
- Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience. \n
- First-time travelers are welcome. \n
- Active ARRT (R) Certification. \n
- Current BLS Certification (AHA). \n
- Venipuncture Certification required. \n
- Ability to work rotating weekends. \n
- Experience with Epic preferred. \n
- Must be willing to float between like units. \n
- Pending licenses are not accepted. \n
