American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital, with no weekends or call requirements.
Details- Work in an Interventional Radiology unit at a large short-term acute care hospital with 838 staffed beds
- Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital; member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH)
- Daily caseload of 10–15 cases per tech
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- No weekend, call, or float requirements
- Charting via Radiology Information System
- Free parking available for travelers
- Minimum of 2 years of overall experience, with at least 1 year of in-specialty Interventional Radiology experience
- ARRT certification and active WV State License required; pending WV license accepted for consideration but must be active prior to start
- BLS/CPR required; CT and/or RVT preferred
- License required if applicable
- Must reside beyond 100 miles from the facility to qualify; candidates within 75–99 miles may be submitted for facility approval
- Two manager or charge nurse references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Driver's License and Social Security card required for consideration
- First-time travelers will be considered depending on experience
- Orientation is held every other week on Mondays
- Surgical scrubs are provided
- No RTO restrictions; time off requests are discussed directly with the manager during the interview
- Flu vaccine is required during flu season (October 1 – March 31); a documented allergy verified by an allergist or physician record is the only accepted exemption
- Former permanent employees of this facility are not eligible to return as travelers until 2 years after their last day worked
