American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center in Everett, WA.

- Level II Trauma Center with outpatient, inpatient, and ED coverage needs \n
- MRI department performs a wide variety of exams including brain, spine, abdomen, extremities, cardiac MRI, and breast MRI \n
- Patient acuity ranges from fully ambulatory to total-assist, with more ambulatory patients on day shift and more inpatient/partial-to-total-assist needs otherwise \n
- Patient population includes adults; experience with neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents is preferred \n
- 3x12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday \n
- No weekend requirement \n
- Call is available but not required \n
- Float coverage required across outpatient, inpatient, and ED settings \n
- Charting via Epic (experience required) \n
- GE MRI equipment and PACS system used \n

- Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience \n
- ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification required (hard stop); ARRT-R preferred \n
- Current BLS required \n
- Active WA MRI license required (license required if applicable) \n
- Community hospital experience required; teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred \n
- Proficiency with standard MRI scan types including brain, spine, abdomen/pelvis, chest, and musculoskeletal imaging \n
- Experience with specialized procedures such as cardiac MRI, breast MRI, perfusion, spectroscopy, and MR angiography is a plus \n
- Skills in contrast media preparation and/or administration, and starting peripheral IVs \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted \n
- 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration \n
- SSN and DOB required for consideration \n

- Perform a broad range of MRI exams across inpatient, outpatient, and ED settings, with day shift exposure to more specialized studies such as cardiac and breast MRI \n
- Travelers are expected to float between units and facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination \n
- Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day \n
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler \n
- RTO requests should be minimal; excessive RTO requests may delay or impact placement \n
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable, with the exception of reddish-orange \n
