Job Description
The RN – Medical/Surgical provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a competent, compassionate, and efficient manner in accordance with licensure, certification, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care consistent with hospital standards and best practices.
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments, including system reviews and documentation.
- Demonstrate understanding of age-specific care requirements.
Utilize Cerner EMR for charting and care coordination.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse license (State/District) – Required
- Certifications:
- BLS & ACLS – Required
- NIHSS – Required
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute’s NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training) – Required
- Education: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required; BSN – Highly Desired
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years inpatient nursing experience – Required
- Med Surg Telemetry experience – Required
- 6 months Travel Nurse experience – Required
- Telemetry and Cerner EMR experience – Required
