• Average volume: 20–25 cases/day

• Setting: Acute care

Candidate Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year Surgical Tech experience
\n
• Orthopedic experience required
\n
• Scrubbing experience required
\n
• BLS — required
\n
• Must have either:\n
  \n
  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program, or
  \n
  • Military training
  \n
\n
• Active Illinois license or proof the application has been initiated
\n

Call Requirements — Important\n

This is not a Monday–Friday-only position because call is required:

\n
• Weeknight call: 1–2 nights/week, Monday–Friday
\n
• Weekend call: 1 weekend/month\n
  \n
  • Friday after shift → Monday morning
  \n
\n
• Holiday call: As needed
\n
• Call response time: 30 minutes
\n

• Floating: Possible but uncommon; could float to General, Peds, Neuro or Cardiac OR
\n
