American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least one year of experience and a current state license for a 13-week assignment in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Details- Position is based in a critical access hospital with 25 beds
- Caseload includes both inpatients and outpatients across swing beds, ICU, Med/Surg, orthopedics, and cardiac cath lab units
- Level IV trauma emergency room environment
- Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Work schedule may include some weekend and holiday coverage as required by the department
- Scrubs required with no specific color
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience required
- Current state Occupational Therapy license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy required; AOTA and OTAC preferred
- Workplace violence prevention training (DCI/BVP) must be completed
- Role may involve care of COVID patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Multidisciplinary team environment with support from various hospital units
- Holiday and weekend shifts may be assigned based on departmental needs
- Candidates may be considered regardless of local or travel status, as local pay rate is the same
